Literature Text

High with the bowing tree
And off the beaten path
The winds will carry free
The world and all its wrath
But that is all of air
Taken to distant where
There is no worry

Just as the sun will rise
And have the moon at rest
The stars inside the skies
Will solely lay attest
To what I have right here
In all my joy and fear
Is what I call mine

I may not levy
All I want from lands around
But the things I am searching
So heavily are long aground

Like amber golden wheat
Shining in dusky dreams
That feeds my hungry beat
Of heart alive it seems
Each every dark of space
Surrounded brightness makes
My walking shoes fleet

It may never dawn
On the times I wish I had
Player with a missing pawn
Will lose a contest already bad

So save the moments now
In quiet walks and breathe
The air is cool and how
The way I like to weave
Around my skin and mind
Leave all my cares behind
As long as will allow

Slow with the coming snow
That shifts the globe away
Once gone all that I know
Will not return to play
And claim lay barren gift
A open crying rift
That was yesterday
