Pass Along

Sure as numbers count and sum
Days to pass and time to be
Left behind as more it grow
Seeds inspired setting free

Clouds from oceans rise above
Rains to cut the heat of stars
Faraway as butterflies
Careless of the where they are

Stones to soften as they lay
Breath be taken from the air
Storms to shake the world to ash
And waters shapeless become clear

Sure as letters write their space
Blank be taken by alone
A thing we think of as the now
Soon be taken in the flow

Sleep a voyage for the mind
Lead a unique realm of light
Shone upon ideas and dreams
That go when we forget our sight

Resting creatures come to wake
Ends of travel make new ways
Those who started pass along
Sure that nothing ever stays
