Woven like the copper sphere
Tendrils of a finger's fear
Doves and ravens in the loft
Hear a beating feather
Stir the stick and stew the air
Breathe the smoke into the bear
And through the willow sills foresee
The electric weather

Cables come from underground
Talons to the hidden shroud
Approach with the curious
Wanting of the child
Alive borne the home of worlds
Thoughts and instincts come to furl
With the signals of one sense
Come from deepest wild

Triangles open to switch
Static off their backs in rain
Smell a sour dawn sufficed
To take away the light
Leaves with veins of swimming blue
Fur and spines closer they flew
A starving circuit shorted wake
Metal in its bite
